Roof cleaner hand-scraping moss from concrete roof tiles with a long-handled scraper

from £300

Roof Cleaning — from £300

We scrape roofs by hand rather than pressure washing. Pressure washing strips the surface off concrete tiles and shortens their life, which is why moss returns faster on a blasted roof. Hand scraping takes longer but leaves the tiles as they should be.

Frequently asked questions

How long does it take?

A typical semi-detached roof takes a day. Larger or steeper roofs may take longer — we’ll tell you when we quote.

Will it damage the tiles?

No. Hand scraping removes moss without stripping the tile surface. That’s the whole point of doing it by hand rather than pressure washing.
